An outstanding game from the Girls’ A team this week, with a 17-0 win over Columba College 2nd XI. The girls had a great passing game and never dropped their intensity throughout the game. Well done to Bree Munro for getting player of the day for her determination and commitment while on attack. The Girls’ B team also continued their winning streak with a 5-2 win over Columba College 3rd XI. Well done to Rosalie Dudfield for getting player of the day. The Boys’ team had a 3 nil loss to Otago Boys. Next week both Girls teams play at 6pm, leaving at 4pm. The Boys’ team has a bye.

Week 10 in the Hockey competition resulted in 2 wins and a draw. Girls A had an awesome 2-0 win over Logan Park High School. This was the only team that bet us in the first round, so with high levels of determination the girls managed to come out on top. Well done to Shinyka Knight for getting player of the day. She marked out the oppositions key players and passed the ball well from the middle. Sam Hollows scored both goals.
The Girls B team had a 4-0 win against Bayfield High School. Our team was a far better team with nice straight passing from Megan Morrison to Sophie Erwood. Kate Sutherland got player of the day for passing well, especially in a new position.
The boys team had a 1-1 draw against John McGlashan 3rd XI. Well done to David Martin who played well from the back and got player of the day for the team. Next weeks game times have not been sent out yet. Please keep checking the website www.oha.org.nz and clicking on the secondary school page. Information is also read out in the morning notices.
