What to do at lunchtimes?
The gear shed will be open for sports equipment to be issued and collected (times below), there will also be some activities organised for you to do and these will be advertised each term.

Invitation to Parents
The Athletics Day will take place on Tuesday 22nd February 2011 at 10am
Extra helpers on the day are always required, therefore, if any parents or caregivers are available please contact Mrs Dodds.
We would love to see more parents attend the sports. We do supply seating however if you want to bring a deck chair and a flask of tea then please feel free to do so.
Students - Get Training
Start thinking about the events you will enter at this year’s Athletics Day. Everyone is encouraged to enter.
To make the event more enjoyable please consider some light training. A jog for 10 minutes every second day, that’s all it takes!
More information on the event will be supplied to you at Form Time.

Cricket - Boys
Year 9 and 10 Boys please put your name up on student notice board if you are interested in playing a Friday after school competition starting soon. There are new and exciting cricket opportunities throughout the year. Please see Mrs Dodds or Mr Carroll for more information.
Cricket - Girls
Junior and Senior Girls interested in playing girls cricket on a Friday night please put your name up on the student notice board. This competition runs on a Friday after school. Please see Mrs Dodds for further information
Tennis
Anyone interested in playing School Championship either Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles please put your name up on the student notice board. Entries will close on 9th February.
School representative teams will be selected from Championship entries, therefore, if you want to attend school interchanges and other events you must be in to be selected. Please see Mrs Cullen or Mrs Dodds for further information.
Water Skiing
Have you been practicing your water skiing skills over the summer? If so sign up for the Otago Water Ski Championships.

Otago/Southland Triathlon Cromwell
Four teams have been entered in this event on the 24th February. Students will be given a notice next week.
