Skills Pathways offers students the opportunity to gain work placement experience and work towards planning their future employment paths. This course encourages students to develop their employee experience and skill base.
Content
Unit Standards at Level 1
- Basic employment rights and responsibilities.
- Produce a curriculum Vitea.
- Start work in a new work place.
- Demonstrate care and timeliness as an employee.
- Complete a work placement.
Level 2 Unit Standards available
- Describe implications of independent living, renting and flatting.
- Investigate and report on the mathematics of a project - flatting.
- Plan for own future directions.
- Obtain job search skills.
- Interview in a formal situation.
- Demonstrate knowledge of stress.
