Fishing competition

Windy and cold conditions did not deter 11 anglers from venturing onto the riverbank with rod and fishing bag in hand for the SOHS fishing competition which ran from Friday 6th November (4pm)to Saturday 7th November (2pm).
10 good sized trout were caught with Abby Rhodes winning the Girls Trophy with two 1 lb fish and Sean Sell taking the Boys Trophy with 3 fish—4&1/4 lb, 2&1/2lb and a 2lb fish.
Other fish caught by students are as follows: Jamie Sutton with 3 fish-2lb, 2lb and 1&3/4lb
Cory Sutton with 1 fish-2&1/4 lb
Stefan Whiteford with 1 fish –3lb
This competition is always well supported by our students and a huge thank you must go to their parents for their support of this event.
