News from the Library
Library
It’s been a very interesting week in the Library! Quarter finalists were found in the Chess Tournament, and from that we already know three semi-finalists and one finalist. Hopefully next week we will be able to announce the overall winner from the 32 original participants. It is starting to sound like the Rugby World Cup! Given the large ‘weed’ of books, I would love some suggestions of replacement books. Please ask your teenagers' too, as I would prefer to buy books that I know will get read. This week I have been reading ‘The dead I know’, by Scot Gardner. It is about a young guy who takes on a job as a trainee Undertaker. He takes to his new job, but are sleepwalking and recurring dreams going to help him piece together his past. I’ll finish it at the weekend, and it’ll be in circulation on Monday.
