SOHS Launches a New Website!

The Board of Trustees recognised a few months ago that our website was becoming a bit out of date, and that it didn’t really fulfill our needs. We decided that it needed a complete overhaul, and engaged Paul Southworth and his team at Turboweb to give it this well needed face lift.

The new site can be totally managed by school staff, and allows us to update news and views as they happen, keeping students, parents and the community fully informed of all the exciting events here at school. It is a great source of information about:

·         The school calendar and events

·         News

·         The Principals’ weekly address

·         Sporting activates

·         Curriculum and option line information

·         Co-curricular information

·         All of the school information like uniform, library and school council

·         Information for international students

·         School contact information

 

Many of the staff here at school have been working hard to gather together up to date information that would be relevant and interesting to our community. In particular, Jackie Frisby our librarian, and Justin Zani, our ICT manager, have been working hard to put together the necessary information to put on to our website. There has also been a huge amount of support from staff such as Margaret Horrax and Sally Davies. The new site couldn’t have been put together without the hard work of these people.
