    Dear Parents/Caregivers

    Kia Ora Tatou

During the last few weeks teachers have been preparing reports and feedback for students on progress so far this year. The reports also contain important information in the next steps for students to improve their achievement.

Conferencing: The opportunity for parents to start booking into the conferencing sessions will be open to parents next week. We expect parents to attend this 20minute session where you will have the opportunity to meet with your child and their mentor to discuss their progress and how we can work together to improve student achievement. Please do book early as I am sure some time slots will be taken quickly.

If parents are not able to attend students are still expected to meet with their mentor at some time.

PE Uniform: The school has worked with NZ Uniform to ensure a stable supply of the new PE uniform and have also requested a local supplier. Next week we anticipate that the new PE uniform will be available for purchase from Stirling Sports in Balclutha. We expect that during this term all students will be able to be outfitted with a regulation school PE uniform.

South Otago High School apologises for the inconvenience which was beyond the schools control and we have worked hard to address the issues raised. Thank you to the parents who have supported the school at this time.
