I am delighted to announce the results of the elections for our School Council and Head Students for 2010.

The School Council will have eleven representatives this year. The Head Students are also members of the Council. The remaining members are:

The vacancy for the Clutha District Youth Council will be filled by Natasha Cameron of Year 12.
I extend my congratulations to all those who have been elected. I am sure that these young people will be fine representatives of our school.

The Year 9 Catlins bush walk was blessed with fine weather. My thanks to the many parents who supported us and came out to help us on both days.

Next Tuesday there will be a Year 9 Parents’ meeting. This will be a chance to meet the teachers, hear how the Year 9 programme operates as well as a chance to find out about the ALP. (Attitude to Learning Programme). I hope to meet as many of you as possible. We will begin in the school hall at 7.30pm.
