Our Conference Day and Evening bookings are now open. This will be a time where you meet your child’s mentor and discuss your child’s academic progress and set goals for the remainder of the year.

The conference is based around a student led discussion and will be a single 20 minute session with the mentor. It is also an opportunity, especially for new parents to the school, to go get any questions answered that you may have.

The times for the Conference Day or Evening will be:

• Wednesday March 1st 4:00pm to 8:00pm
• Thursday March 2nd 9:00am to 3:00pm

If you are having an issue with this or would prefer to book by phone, call the school office on 03 418 0517 to do so. You will then be able to book one appointment with the mentor for each of your children.

There will be no classes on Thursday 2nd March as teachers will be fully occupied with their conferencing meetings. Students are not required to attend school for the day apart from when they have their conference and will need to have alternative arrangements made for the remainder of the day.

We are excited about the mentoring programme as an ongoing part of your child’s achievement at South Otago High School. We are looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible for our Conference Day or Evening.
