What happens at Tertiary Open Days?
Our Open Days have academic presentations and activities, residential college tours, as well as lots of displays and activities from University clubs and services. It’s a showcase of what university life looks like at Otago.
Which day should I come?
The full programme happens on Monday 8 May 2023. This includes an expo where you can learn about the subjects and courses on offer at Otago from the academic departments who teach them.
Sunday 7 May has a limited programme, focusing on the most popular academic subjects. College and campus tours are available.
People often find it is helpful to attend both days as there is so much on offer on Monday it is difficult to see it all. Sunday is a good day to do college tours and get a feel for the campus.
Registration is not required to attend either day.
What if I can't attend Tertiary Open Days in May?
Dunedin Tertiary Open Days only happen once a year, so there won't be another event like this in 2023, but we welcome you to come and visit our campus at another time. Visit our Schools' Liaison website to book a guided campus tour or to get in touch with our friendly Liaison Officers.
