On Wednesday we held our annual speech finals for Years 9-11.
We were blown away by the high calibre of speakers this year. It is an impressive skill to speak well in public and these young speakers did us proud. The speech finals had been postponed from Term 2 and some speakers had initially presented their speeches in Term 1, so it was a long time coming. The self selected topics our speakers presented on were varied and sophisticated, from the fear of missing out, to the value of golf as a sport for young people to intersectional feminism. Well done all, you did a fantastic job!
