On Thursday evening Sarah Bloxham (Year 13), Annaliese Bisset (Year 11), Hannah Madayag (Year 9), Isabel Stirling (Year 10) and Olivia Soper (Year 13) attended the Balclutha Rotary Club meeting to present speeches as recipients of Rotary Club Prizes for Speaking and Tertiary Study Awards.

They all spoke beautifully and Mrs Ward and Ms Beaumont both felt incredibly proud of these young women representing themselves and the school so well. Rotary generously donated prizes for the Year 9, 10 and 11 speech final winners and two tertiary study scholarships for Year 12 and 13 students, this year awarded to Sarah and Olivia.
