Over the weekend Leisarah Anthony Kosena and Rosemariah Talione Vasa Pene had the great opportunity of participating in the Samoan The FAGASA, which is the National Society for learning Samoan Language in Aotearoa New Zealand.
The FAGASA holds the Samoan Speech competition annually at the main hall of the Samoan community in Auckland. The theme for this 2024 deals with good service. The competition was judged according to school level. Rosemariah represented our schools for the Year 10 level, and Leisarah represented our school in the year 13 level.
Both of them came second, we are very proud of them.
Leisarah said, "It was a great experience to go up there and showcase what we were told to do. It was fun. We enjoyed the competition. We want to take this opportunity to say thanks very much to our teachers and students for your support and prayers."
Ngā mihi,
