The Year 12 Geography students have been staying in Rakiura / Stewart Island. Students completed independent research interviewing local business and collecting data for their upcoming internal on the positives and negatives of tourism on the island. Students also examined differing viewpoints on 1080. Along with trips to Ulva Island, beach swims and bird spotting with Kiwis and Yellow Eyed Penguins both spotted.
Thanks to Miss McLellan, Mr Leather, Mrs Bensley and Mr Beeby for their help on the trip.
