On Wednesday 30th April we took 47 year 12 Biology students out to Portobello where the New Zealand Marine Studies Centre is based to complete some field work for their upcoming assessment.

It is so valuable for students to be able to go on these trips to experience working with the University of Otago Marine Science department and seeing what science in the real world can look like. 

Students all managed well with the early start and they all got a lot out of the day, collecting some fantastic data and representing our school well.
