9T Science

As part of their science lessons on light and vision, our Y9T students took part in an exciting hands-on investigation of a cow’s eye.

This practical activity helped them understand how the eye works to let us see.

By carefully examining the different parts of the cow’s eye—like the cornea, lens, iris, and retina—students could connect what they’ve learned in class to a real-life example. They discussed how light enters the eye and is focused to help us see images clearly.

This activity made learning more fun and meaningful. It helped students see how science works in the real world and why understanding light and vision is so important in everyday life.
