Two Lyddon Scholarships are available for students from South Otago High School to attend the Blue Light camp-based Life Skills course in Christchurch for youth aged 14 to 17 years.

This camp is run in partnership with the NZ Defence Forces Youth Development Unit. The scholarship covers the cost of the course, and some assistance with travel may be available. https://bluelight.co.nz/  (The Life Skills Course)

A Pukekoma Scholarship for $2000 is available to help a student from South Otago High School attend Outward Bound. (We would be happy to support any student who may need to fundraise to cover the full cost of the course). This is an 8-day adventure course for 16-18-year-olds to help them develop their potential.   https://www.outwardbound.co.nz/ (Mind Body Soul Compact Course)

Students have been emailed a form to register their interest. Once they have completed this form, they will be notified of the selection process. CLOSING DATE for registration is FRIDAY 18th JULY (the end of the first week of next term).
