We held the annual SOHS Year 9 and 10 speech competitions on Tuesday. Visiting judge Mrs Reegan Tourell was very impressed with the speakers' delivery and the depth of their ideas!

The Year 9 speech winner was Lili Laban, with Erynne Parlane in second place. Congratulations to them and to the other finalists, Mione Meyer, Celeste Drugudruguivalu, Eva Martin, Ella Hore, Arni Avergonzado, Caitlin Steel and Keira Hancock.

The winning Year 10 speaker was Elise Barrie and second place went to Francine Reyes. Well done to the winners and to finalists: Awhina Wanahi, Te Anu Brown, Jackson Te Wao, Cruz Pickering, Isabella Bennett, Waniya Khan, Hudson Allan and Tayla Smith. You should all be proud of your performances!
