A group of students attended a chainsaw course in the last school holidays.

They learned a number of important safety processes, as well as how to maintain and tune the chainsaws during the first two days. The final day was transferring the cutting and safety methods from the classroom into practical techniques. They left with some more credits, a greater confidence in the tools and safer use of the saws. They should now be more able to cut up firewood, and clear small windfall trees on fences when needed.
