BORNEO TOUR JULY 2027 INFORMATION EVENING - Tuesday 16th September 6.30pm, School Hall

We are planning a trip to Borneo in 2027 for students who are currently year 9-11 (years 11-13 on the trip). 

The trip will be in the July school holidays of 2027. The trip would include spending some time in conservation parks, and includes spending a day volunteering in a sun bear sanctuary, as well as exploring Borneo and all it has to offer. Specific highlights may include;

• Orangutan and Sun Bear sanctuaries
• Wildlife spotting river cruises 
• Exploring the local towns and culture of Borneo
• Poring Hot Springs
• Klias wetlands
• Selingan Turtle Island

There will be an information evening for whanau of the interested students in the school hall on the evening of the 16th of September, starting at 6.30pm. This evening will include more information on the trip itself, including costing.
