Our South Otago High School Whānau Hui was held This week

It was a great turn out with lots of our new Year 9 whānau and students coming along. It was opened up by our tuakana (senior students) Rashaun Melvin and Jorja Andrews supported by our Kapa Haka, Matua Kiritopa and Miss Tuhega. We had a kōrero about what we did last year as a Kura and all the amazing things we are going to do this year. E.g Kapa Haka, Citizenship Ceremonies, Manu Kōrero, Mana Pounamu, Matariki, Polyfest along with the new Whare Ako that is being built. Thank you to everyone that came, staff, students and whānau.
