South Otago Cultural Exchange

Today our Kapa Haka group went to the Catlin’s Area School for the annual South Otago Cultural Exchange.

We were in the Owaka Community Hall. Catlin’s Area School, Lawerence Area School, Roxburgh Area School, Blue Mountain College were there. The exchange is about whakawhanaungatanga, celebrating Te Ao Māori and Te Reo Māori. Waiata, waiata-ā-ringa & Haka were performed. Well done to our Kapa Haka group who performed Te Ata Māhina and Ko te kupu o te Atua Haka. Thank you to Matua (Mr Allen), Salu & Miss Tuhega for tutoring our Kapa Haka.
