Today South Otago High School hosted the Otago Secondary School Pasifika Voices Speech Competition at Te Pou Ō Mata-Au.
It is a speech competition for Pacific Island students to showcase their oratory skills and be heard.
There is a Junior Section (Year 9 & Year 10) and a Senior Section (Year 11-13). The languages that they spoke in were English, Samoan, Tongan, Fijian and Tuvaluan. The topics this year were:
