This morning, our Agribusiness class headed out to Landsdown Dairy Farm for a firsthand look at a busy, working Pāmu property.

We learned a bit of history, how they manage the farm, and the students learned about condition scoring, which is a way of tracking herd health. We then had a go at condition scoring some of the cows in the yard. We also checked out their composting barn to see how they manage wintering and protecting the soil. It was a great morning and a massive thank you to the team for hosting us and sharing their knowledge and time.
