The Year 13 geographers got to experience the world's 8th wonder of the world yesterday soaking up the views from an amazing boat cruise on Milford Sound.
This gave us first-hand experience of the issues around tourism in Milford Sound, including an icy approach to the Homer Tunnel, impatient drivers and congestion at the boat terminal. Our students are investigating whether tourism is sustainable, differing perspectives about tourism as well as potential solutions or improvements.
A special thanks to Mr Beeby, Mrs Bensley and Miss Wootton for enabling this experience to happen
