Bird of the Year voting is now open!

Every year Forest and Bird run the Bird of the Year competition - a highly competitive election to see which native bird species comes out on top! The prize is bragging rights and raising awareness for our amazing native species, many of which are seriously at risk and need our help. 

This year SOHS has been campaigning for the Royal Spoonbill (Kōtuku ngutupapa).

Each year you get five votes, so make sure you check out the website and make your vote count!
