What a week we have had at SOHS!

Monday - We played the livestream of our Kapa Haka from Polyfest. 

Tuesday - Our Cultural Prefects shared about the history of Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori & we had our Cultural Competition where each house group performed our school waiata and school haka. Our staff and Kapa Haka also performed.  

Wednesday - We continued watching our Kapa Haka and Tupulaga from the Polyfest. We had Matua Jared take some Mau Rākau. 

Thursday - We did Flax Weaving and made putiputi (flowers). 

Friday - Matua Kiritopa took our staff for some Professional Development and taught us a Waiata! We made Fry Bread , our Kapa Haka performed at assembly and our Cultural Prefects played Māori kēmu: Kōrero Whīwhiwhi - Te Reo Māori Tongue Twisters!
