Wednesday morning our group flew to Wellington to go to the World of Wearable Arts annual show

While we were there we did some pretty awesome activities. Everybody Eats Wellington opened specially for us early to come in for dinner and to have a tour in their restaurant kitchen. Everybody Eats is a pay-what-you-can (koha) contributions from customers who can afford to pay to help subsidise meals for those who cannot. Everybody Eats is hoping to help tackle growing food hunger. Wellington Chocolate Factory where we got to have hands on experience with making three of our own chocolate bars with toppings of our choice. We learnt about fair trade and how they use Pasific nations for sourcing their beans/pods helping keep Pasific nations in employment and receiving a fair price for their chocolate pods. We also learnt about the bad side of chocolate and how unethical it can be. Quick trip up the cable cars. And of course the WOW show. It was impressive, magical and there are some awesome designers.
