    15th Nov 2019

    Dear Parents/Caregivers

    Kia Ora Tatou

This is the end of the first full school week without senior students and it was a pleasure last Friday afternoon to announce the junior student council who provide support and leadership in the final weeks of the school year. This is a new leadership initiative that was introduced in 2018 and proved to be very successful.

This years junior student council is:

    Josiah Goodwin

    Jessica Sheppard

    Lachlan Judson

    Fraser McAtamney

    Emily Unahi

    Kasey Valli

    Leah McLaren

    Chirag Thakker

We also have a council support member who is Jarrod Andrews who will be announcing one student each week who has been caught being extra helpful.

    NCEA

The final NCEA exams are well underway. It has been interesting to see so many students coming into school for tutorials and to gather extra support in preparation for these assessments. Early data shows that the majority of our students are on track to complete the year successfully.

    Finally

Activity days are coming up and I also realise that we are heading into an expensive time of year for families. If families are struggling to pay for activities please do contact me to discuss how we can work together to provide opportunities to students that we know are invaluable.
